I have been performing at private parties, weddings, birthdays as well as corporate events for 20 years. I have sung at exclusive birthday parties, launch parties, garden parties, charity events and at some of the London’s top venues including Café De Paris, The London Eye, Mansion House, Soho House, Blacks, Painter’s Hall, The Orangery, NOBO and the Crazy Coqs, Piccadilly. I have also performed at events in numerous private country houses and National Trust venues.
My approach to private events has always been to work very closely with each client to ensure that I deliver exactly the right entertainment for the evening.
WHAT I OFFER:
Interaction, intimacy, creating connection with audience, telling stories to draw them in and together and even getting their voices out (singing along!).
I work solo with just a pianist or with a full band and am also very happy in the role of host/compere. I am most popular as an after-dinner performer bringing the guests together with songs to get them dancing, singing along or just to move them and make them laugh.
“Kate’s wit and charm make it an absolute privilege to spend a couple hours with her warm sound, generous spirit and jaw- dropping inventiveness. “
Lucy Shaufer, opera singer
“Thank you for a most wonderful evening on Thursday – we all had a FABULOUS time. I have had lots of messages and emails from neighbours and guests saying how much they enjoyed your performance and can we do it again! It was really great.”
Ken (Spencer Park Diner en blanc)
“THANK YOU! We loved having you and everyone enjoyed
the show enormously – great feedback!”
Susie Bagot, director of Levens Hall
“I heard you and your band for the very first time last night at MGS and – you blew me away! Thank you so much,
for a wonderful evening’s entertainment.”
Withington Girls School
“Last night’s performance was fantastic! Thank you very much for helping us try something new in the house, I think it really worked and the feedback has been glowing.”
Hugh Harris, Tyntesfield (National Trust)
FINDING YOUR VOICE : A WOMAN’S WORK at Port Eliot Festival 29th August
I am very excited to announce that I will be doing a bespoke session for Port Eliot Festival on Saturday 29th August. I would love any other female artists out there to join me.. for song and discussion.

REVIEWS : WHAT THEY ARE SAYING ABOUT “SONGBIRDS”
Tom Robinson, BBC Radio 6 Music, Sat 4 Feb 2017:
“When we’re choosing the tapes, the only thing that counts is what comes out of the speakers. And what came out of the speakers with this next track completely blew me away. This is an artist called Kate Dimbleby – the track is Musical Boxes…
“It’s been a very good week for the BBC Introducing Mixtape. And that one is a stunner.
“She studied with Bobby McFerrin in New York and, you know, she’s put in the time. Those 10,000 hours have been applied to honing that craft. And that is a woman, an artist absolutely at. the. top. of. her. game.”…
